Programmer Positions

Description: Full or Part Time positions undertaking programming tasks as directed by the Project Manager in order to further develop Livestock Recordings Internet based livestock recording and feedback system.

Essential Skills - Proficiency in a range of programming languages.
Must be able to:

• work as part of a motivated development team and consistently meet deadlines set by the team;
• consistently apply a set of programming standards defined by the development team;
• work closely to the specification laid out by the team;   and
• maintain programming documentation detailing work performed.

Desirable Skills - Experience and technical competency in programming using some or all of the following technologies:
Javascript
HTML
MSSQL
Crystal Reports
Magic
ASP.Net

Personal Attributes: Technically competent, self motivated people with high level problem solving skills and a good understanding of an individual's role in a highly motivated development team.

Remuneration: Based on experience.

Location: Armidale CBD

Technical Support Positions

The Position - Possibility of Full Time, Part Time or Casual work providing Technical Support to clients. Particular emphasis on importing animal information into the Livestock Recording database. Provision of email and phone support to clients using Livestock Recording's Internet based livestock recording and feedback system.

Essential Skills - Experience using computers and in particular Internet Browsers. Good communication skills. Ability to maintain procedural documentation.

Desirable - Experience using Livestock Information Systems. Client support experience.

Personal Attributes: Technically competent, self motivated people with high level problem solving skills and a good understanding of an individual's role in a highly motivated team. Ideally the successful applicant would also have excellent communication skills.
